Troubleshooting
Rainbow Smiley Face Castle Bounce House (Toddler)
Welcome to the official troubleshooting guide for your rental. This page will walk you through solutions to the most common issues to help you get your event running smoothly and safely. Please do not modify or force any parts—all adjustments should be done using the steps below.
The Bounce House Will Not Inflate
Possible Causes & Solutions:
-
Power Not Connected:
Confirm the blower is plugged into a working 110V outlet. Test the outlet with another device to verify power.
-
Loose Blower Tube:
Make sure the inflation tube is fully placed onto the blower port and secured tightly with the attached strap.
-
Zippers Not Closed:
Check all air-release zippers around the unit. Ensure they are completely closed before turning the blower back on.
-
Tripped Breaker:
Avoid sharing circuits with large appliances. Reset the breaker or move to a dedicated outlet.
The Bounce House Is Inflated but Feels Soft
Possible Causes & Solutions:
-
Air Escaping:
Re-check the blower tube and zipper closures. Even a small gap can reduce firmness.
-
Blocked Blower Intake:
Remove any debris, grass, or fabric covering the blower intake.
-
Extension Cord Issue:
Use only heavy-duty 12-gauge extension cords under 50 feet. Thin or long cords reduce power.
Blower Keeps Shutting Off
Possible Causes & Solutions:
-
Overloaded Circuit:
Move the blower to a different outlet or a dedicated circuit.
-
Overheating:
Ensure the blower has airflow and is not covered or blocked.
-
Faulty Cord:
Replace lightweight or damaged cords with a proper 12-gauge cord.
Excessive Movement or Shifting
This toddler unit is lightweight and must be anchored properly.
-
Check that all stakes are fully driven into the ground.
-
If on pavement, ensure sandbags remain in place and are not moved by guests.
-
Stop use immediately in winds exceeding 15 mph.
Kids Falling Frequently or Struggling to Stand
-
Limit to 4 toddlers at a time.
-
Ensure older kids are not entering the toddler unit.
-
Confirm the bounce floor is dry and clear of leaves, toys, or debris.
-
Visually check that shoes, food, and drinks are kept away.
Entry Step Is Collapsing
-
Ensure the blower is fully inflating the front step area.
-
Check nearby zippers and air seams for gaps.
-
Confirm nothing is weighing down the step area.
Mesh Walls Bowing or Pushing Out
-
Reduce occupancy to recommended toddler levels.
-
Make sure older children are not pressing or running into the mesh.
-
Check inflation level to ensure the blower is working properly.
Unit Won’t Stay Dry (Condensation or Drizzle)
-
Dry using towels regularly if light moisture collects.
-
Avoid operating the inflatable in steady rain or storms.
-
If water enters through seams, briefly turn off the hose (if connected) and allow the blower to dry the unit internally.
