Troubleshooting

12' Fire Red Marble Inflatable Slide (Wet/Dry)

Welcome to the official troubleshooting guide for your rental. This page will walk you through solutions to the most common issues to help you get your event running smoothly and safely. Please do not modify or force any parts—all adjustments should be done using the steps below.

The Slide Will Not Inflate

Possible Causes & Solutions:

  • Power Not Connected:
Ensure the blower is plugged into a dedicated 110V outlet. Check that the outlet has power by testing another device.

  • Loose Blower Tube:
Make sure the inflation tube is fully slid over the blower port and tightly secured with the attached strap.

  • Zippers Not Closed:
Inspect the slide for any open air-release zippers. Fully close them and restart the blower.

  • Tripped Breaker:
If multiple items are plugged into the same circuit, the breaker may trip. Reset the breaker or move the blower to a separate outlet.

The Slide Is Inflated, but Soft

Possible Causes & Solutions:

  • Air Escaping from Tube or Zipper:
Recheck that the blower tube is secure and zippers are fully closed.

  • Blower Intake Blocked:
Ensure the blower air intake is clear of grass, fabric, or debris.

  • Extension Cord Too Long or Too Thin:
Only use heavy-duty 12-gauge cords under 50 ft. Longer or lighter cords reduce airflow.

  • Water on the Slide (If Wet Mode):
Excess water can add weight. Turn off the hose temporarily and allow some water to drain off.

Water Is Not Flowing Down the Slide Properly (Wet Mode)

Possible Causes & Solutions:

  • Hose Not Connected Securely:
Verify the garden hose is attached to the sprinkler line at the top of the slide.

  • Low Water Pressure:
Increase water flow or ensure the hose isn’t kinked.

  • Sprayer Holes Blocked:
Gently check the sprayer line for clogs. Remove debris and restart water flow.

The Slide Is Too Fast or Too Slow (Wet Mode)

Too Fast:

  • Reduce the water pressure slightly to slow down the surface.

Too Slow:

  • Increase water pressure.

  • Ensure the landing area is clear and water is reaching the entire sliding lane.

Water Pool Overfilling at the Bottom

Possible Causes & Solutions:

  • Water Pressure Too High:
Reduce hose flow to prevent excessive pooling.

  • Uneven Ground:
If the slide leans forward, water can accumulate. Adjust placement slightly to level the landing area.

Children Getting Stuck or Slowing Down (Dry Mode)

  • Ensure the slide surface is completely dry before use.

  • Check for debris such as leaves or grass on the sliding lane.

  • Confirm kids are sliding feet-first as improper form can slow movement.

Blower Keeps Shutting Off

Possible Causes & Solutions:

  • Breaker Tripping:
Move the blower to a dedicated outlet.

  • Overheating:
Ensure the blower has adequate ventilation and isn’t covered.

  • Faulty Extension Cord:
    Replace with a 12-gauge heavy-duty cord under 50 ft.

Excessive Movement or Shifting

Possible Causes & Solutions:

  • Ensure all stakes are fully anchored into the ground.

  • If on pavement, confirm all sandbags are secured and not moved by children or wind.

  • Stop use immediately in high winds (over 15 mph).
