Michigan's 2026-27 Out-of-School Time (OST) Grant is run by MiLEAP under Section 32n of the State School Aid Act, with $135 million available (announcement). MiLEAP's Use of Funds guidance lists vendor services (including use of specialized equipment), Community Activities – Family Events, and recreation and physical fitness. MiLEAP also administers the federal 21st CCLC program, which serves high-poverty, low-performing schools; enrichment plus family literacy and related services are core purposes. Grantees may be able to use OST or 21st CCLC funds for vendor services like this. Please check with your program officer and your approved budget.
