Glow Foam Party — Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the foam glow?
We use special neon foam solution that reacts to UV (ultraviolet) blacklight, creating vibrant glowing colors in the foam. The effect is most dramatic in low-light or evening conditions — the darker the environment, the more spectacular the glow.
Does it work during the day?
The glow effect is significantly more impressive after dark or in low-light conditions. For daytime events, the foam is still bright and colorful but the UV glow effect won't be as dramatic. We recommend scheduling glow foam parties for evening events or indoor venues with dimmed lighting for the full experience.
Is the glow foam solution safe?
Yes — our foam solution is kid-safe, hypoallergenic, and biodegradable. The neon colorants are non-toxic. As with any foam party, we recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting wet and colorful.
Will the foam stain clothes?
Our neon foam solution is designed to be non-permanent and wash out of most clothing with normal laundering. We still recommend wearing white or light-colored clothes to maximize the glow effect and older clothes you don't mind getting wet.
What do I need to provide?
Outdoor electrical outlets for the foam machine and UV lights, plus a garden hose water hookup. We handle all setup, operation, and breakdown. For evening events, let us know about your venue's outdoor lighting so we can plan the blacklight setup for maximum effect.
How far in advance should I book?
