The Game

Objective

: Gaga Ball is a fast-paced, high-energy game played in an octagonal pit. The aim is to be the last player remaining by eliminating others through strategic ball play.

Setup:

• Players enter the pit and place one hand on the wall.
• A designated player throws the ball into the center; it must bounce twice while players chant "Ga-Ga."

Gameplay:

• Once the ball is in play, use an open hand to hit it towards other players.
• If the ball strikes a player at or below the knees, that player is eliminated and must exit the pit.
• Players cannot catch, throw, or hold the ball; it must be hit with an open hand.
• No double touches are allowed unless the ball contacts the wall or another player first.
• The game continues until only one player remains.

Additional Rules:

• Players should avoid using the wall to assist in jumps ("spidering").
• The ball should remain within the pit; if it exits, the last player to touch it may be eliminated, depending on agreed-upon rules.
